Courses Offered at SSUS

Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (SSUS) is a State University. The University is recognized and funded by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

The University offers numerous courses ranging from Undergraduate to PhD level. Undergraduate courses are offered in the disciplines of Sanskrit Core, BFA (Painting & Mural Painting), Music, and Dance (Bharathanattyam, Mohiniyattam). Postgraduate courses are offered in the fields of languages like, Malyalam, Sanskrit Literatue and Language, Arabic, Hindi, English, and in the areas of Social Work, Dance (Bharathanattyam, Mohiniyattam), Psychology, Vedic Studies, Philosophy, Urdu, Sanskrit Nyaya, Sanskrit Vedanta, Comparative Literature & Linguistics, Theatre, Music, and Dalit Studies. PhD courses are also offered by the University.  PG Diploma courses in Tourism and Hindi Translation are provided by SSUS. Integrated M Phil/PhD academic courses are also available.
