AIMS CET 2012

Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) is a fusion of the latest technologies with high traditional spiritual values. The educational facilities at AIMS meets the international standards.

The Medical College building contains laboratories, lecture halls and a well-furnished central library complete with outstanding collection of the latest editions of medical books and journals.

It also provides electronic access scientific and medical data-bases. An anatomy museum has also been established with all the latest teaching devices and with elaborate models detailing the different parts of the human body.

The institute conducts an Common Entrance test (CET) for admission towards its various courses of medicine, viz; Medical, Dental and Nursing in the department of Medical Sciences.

AIMS CET 2012 Eligibility Criteria

• MBBS / BDS / BAMS:
  a. Age limit - should complete the age of 17 by December 31, 2012 and should not exceed 23 by the said date.
  b. Qualification - Must have passed the higher secondary examination or its equivalent in the first attempt with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, & Biology / Biotechnology taken together and 60% marks in English Separately.
  
  
• MD / MS (Clinical) & MDS: Should not be more than 30 as on  December 31, 2012 . For MD (Non Clinical) & all PG Courses, Age limit not Applicable.
  
  
• MD /MS PG Diploma : MBBS degree and completion of internship by March 31, 2012.
  
  
• MDS : BDS degree and completion of internship by March 31, 2012
  
  
• M.Sc Nursing : Pass in B.Sc Nursing or B.Sc (Hons). Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing With not less than 55% Marks. Should be a registered Nurse with minimum of one year experience.
